Overview

SUMMARY: To transport and store luggage for hotel guests. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Greet guests, open car doors, transport / store luggage, escort guests and show to hotel rooms Inform guests of property amenities
  • Perform errands such as delivering supplies and newspapers, filling ice buckets, etc. Perform room checks at noon
  • Clean and straighten lobby area, keep bell closet and equipment clean and clean glass doors
  • Monitor halls for security purpose
  • Exchange keys

Qualifications

Knowledge and Certification;

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Skills Required:
  • Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills

Abilities Required:

  • Ability to work fast and efficiently
  • Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene
  • Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner
