Overview

SUMMARY: Responsible for supervising guest registrations, check-in and check-out, complaint resolution and rate negotiations. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure performance standards for the delivery of exceptional guest service standards are met by Front Desk, Reservations/PBX, Bell and Concierge staff
  • Complete guest reservations and registrations
  • Supervise and maintain daily room sales
  • Work with Casino Executive, Player Development and Table Games to optimize gaming guest occupancy
  • Work Front Desk as needed and help on PBX/Reservations when necessary
  • Work in conjunction with Security and Casino Executives to assure guests well-being and safety
  • Answer questions and resolve guest complaints
  • Work in conjunction with Group Tours/Cruise Department to facilitate group blocks and functions                                                                                                                           

 

Qualifications

Knowledge and Certification

Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3 years supervisory experience in a mid-sized, full-service hotel

  • Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Windows XP and Agilysys
