SUMMARY: To maintain, repair and place video slot machines and related gaming equipment throughout the casino. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.


  • Handle machine related customer issues promptly
  • Install, move, test, repair and maintain slot and electronic/electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems
  • Review, interpret and verify slot pay tables, settings and jackpots of pre-established amounts
  • Troubleshoot and repair slots and associated player tracking system to minimize down time and maximize profitability of the gaming operation Independently and/or cooperatively perform advanced tasks including but not limited to RAM clears, setup and configuration of software, progressive system(s) hardware and software installation, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Assist in the ongoing training and development of other team members
  • Maintain security of keys and company assets Perform assigned tasks in compliance with applicable regulations


Knowledge and Certification


  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • 2 year electronics degree or 3 years equivalent experience; or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education
  • 2 years mechanical and electromechanical systems experience

  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude


  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools and electrical/electronic test equipment
  • Proven soldering skills
