Overview

SUMMARY: To provide support to the Marketing Department during promotions, special events and entertainment functions. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with setting up and tearing down events
  • Greet, guide and seat guests
  • Take tickets, explain promotions, register guests for drawings and hand out promotional materials
  • Assist with duties such as tracking attendance
  • Ensure event rules and regulations are followed
  • Provide guests with event, promotion, entertainment and amenity information

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1 year hospitality or guest service

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Skills Required:

  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Abilities Required:

Ability to work fast and efficiently

  • Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene
  • Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to serve both internal and external customers
  • Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice
