Overview

SUMMARY:

 

To prepare and serve alcohol to guests consistently within department standards. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate beverages according to established recipes
  • Serve guests in compliance with TIPS and guest service standards
  • Ring up transactions and make the correct change
  • Requisition work station supplies to maintain pars and monitor quality of product Initiate and establish superior guest service including drink recommendations and informing of specials
  • Utilize and implement TIPS training to prevent and recognize alcohol-related concerns Set up and close work stations in compliance with established procedures

Qualifications

6 months bartending experience

 

Preferred:

 

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Successful completion of and certification from Bartending School
  • 1-year cash handling and bank reconciliation experience
  • 1-year computerized point-of-sales system experience

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills

 

Abilities Required:

 

  • Ability to work fast and efficiently
  • Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice
